water park
On Friday I enjoyed a break from the routine with my students, other teachers, and a generous helping of parent volunteers at the Water Park outside of the city. Organized completely by parents and announced to me the day before leaving, the trip is apparently done twice a year to provide some recreation for these crazy first course (7th grade) kids.
Aside from an accident at the end of the day involving a student and a pretty bad fall on one of the slides that required some immediate dental and medical attention, the day was a success.
