piggy's glasses

This week, as we read Golding's journey into the savagery of the human soul in my fifth course class, I was living though this adolescent experiment in my first course class. After reviewing Chapter 10 of Lord of the Flies with my Lit class (in which Piggy's glasses are stolen and the power on the island of shifts to savagery because Jack’s tribe steals Piggy’s glasses) some glasses were later partially mangled in my First Course class when I was attempting to take a class photo and one student was jumping in the air, and cut his face on his glasses and lost a lens in the process that I later recovered with the help of another student.

Sometimes fact IS stranger than fiction.
